solo audition procedure

Hello friends!
As I mentioned, we have a couple of solo opportunities in this concert.
If interested, you may submit recordings of your performing one or both of the following:
– Benedictus: begin measure 1, 2 or 3 (depending on your voice part), and end measure 20.
– Domus Mea: begin at the end of measure 12 (“dicit”) and end at measure 33 (at the end of the word “aperietur”). Note: in the Polish editions, the measure numbers are at given at the end of the bar.
For both: I prefer you submit your attempt without accompaniment (although the Domus Mea will be sung with continuo). I also prefer  you sing with a metronome to keep your rhythm honest, particularly in the Domus Mea (it’s sung at a slow tempo – 60bpm or slower – reference recording: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzXbgY01oj0)
You can email me me video, or audio, or links to video/audio on Google Drive, Dropbox, YouTube etc. Whatever is easy for you.
I would like to get these recordings in within the next week if possible, to make a decision.
I selected our repertoire with flexibility in mind. If these solos don’t fit our group for this first concert, our program still “works”…and we can look at opportunities for future concerts. This also gives me good information about your singing for future solo consideration. Thank you!
