Hello team!
Another great rehearsal last week. Thanks for digging into the Credo.
For next week….keep working on all the music! But we will focus especially on:
– Polish psalms (these are really getting better, congrats)
– The Palestrina (including a read-through of Sitivit)
– I wouldn’t mind reviewing the Gloria & Agnus Dei as time allows
– Illuminare, I really thought the Palestrina Magnificat sounded beautiful with you. So I want to see if we can at least get 2-3 verses of that together. This piece is often sung in a cut version. But it would be wonderful to see how far we can get with it. This piece will return for the concert in May (we will pair our French music with some Marian music), so if we can’t get it all down we can continue working on it.
